LATEST SHIPPED RELEASE
GoodRun 0.9.14
Beta
Import your history from other apps: Settings > Import & Export reads exports from Poker Bankroll Tracker, Poker Analytics and any spreadsheet (CSV).
Session limits: set a stop-loss, a maximum number of rebuys or a session length, and the live session warns you when you reach one.
Player labels: Settings > Hand recorder > Player labels lets you rename, add, remove and reorder the quick labels (Fish, Whale, VIP, Regular, Unknown) used in the hand recorder.
Merging a backup now keeps its settings and the original times of continued sessions, and no longer fails when a rebuy from the backup is already on this phone.
Bankroll goals: on the Bankroll tab, Add goal sets a target for a bankroll: a balance, a profit, hours or sessions, for all time, this year, this month or between two dates, with an optional deadline.
Hand replayer: open a hand (imported from Poker Bankroll Tracker or recorded in GoodRun) and watch it on a poker table: seats with stacks (? when unknown), bets, the board and the pot, step by step.
Open any version here without leaving your place, or use its permanent page. Dates are publication dates. Only versions with a verified published Android release are listed.
0.9.14Beta
Import your history from other apps: Settings > Import & Export reads exports from Poker Bankroll Tracker, Poker Analytics and any spreadsheet (CSV).
Import your history from other apps: Settings > Import & Export reads exports from Poker Bankroll Tracker, Poker Analytics and any spreadsheet (CSV). For a spreadsheet you match its columns once; you see a preview before anything is saved, and sessions already in GoodRun are skipped.
Reset to default: a setting you changed shows Reset to default under it, and Reset all settings to defaults is at the bottom of Settings. Only settings change, never your sessions, hands or other data, and you can Undo.
Improved
Hand recorder: quick labels from your settings (one tap sets a label), TalkBack reads face-up cards, position names on the table match the ones you picked in quick capture, the pot in the middle includes the blinds and bets in front, and bet sizes at bigger stakes show whole amounts.
Tablets: the live session uses two columns, charts keep a sensible height, and forms you are filling in survive Android closing the app in the background.
Fixed
Merging a backup now keeps its settings and the original times of continued sessions, and no longer fails when a rebuy from the backup is already on this phone.
Venue suggestions by location no longer ask for the location permission as soon as a form opens, and the Nearby card fits on screen at large text sizes.
0.9.13Beta
Quick capture during a session: tap your position (SB, BB, UTG, UTG+1, LJ, HJ, CO or BTN) next to Pick cards.
Quick capture during a session: tap your position (SB, BB, UTG, UTG+1, LJ, HJ, CO or BTN) next to Pick cards. When you finish the hand later, you sit at the bottom of the table with the button placed for that position, and your cards and note are filled in.
Improved
The hand recorder is now fully visual: it opens straight on the table, with no setup form. Tap a seat to add a player, tap a player to enter their stack (in chips or BB), tap the blinds to change them, and tap D then a player to move the button. Use last table brings back your last setup. This works the same for a new hand, finishing a quick-captured hand and editing a saved one.
0.9.12Beta
Bankroll goals: on the Bankroll tab, Add goal sets a target for a bankroll: a balance, a profit, hours or sessions, for all time, this year, this month or between two dates, with an optional deadline.
Bankroll goals: on the Bankroll tab, Add goal sets a target for a bankroll: a balance, a profit, hours or sessions, for all time, this year, this month or between two dates, with an optional deadline. Each goal shows its progress and whether you are on pace; monthly and yearly goals start again each month or year, and you get a note when one is reached.
Merge venues: on a venue's page, the merge button moves every session at it to another venue you pick. A preview shows what changes first; settings the kept venue lacks (GPS location, defaults, bankroll) and stakes favourites move over, then the duplicate is removed.
Improved
Hand histories: the stakes line is smaller, your cards are bigger and the result is smaller, so each hand is easier to scan.
Hand page: the linked session takes one small line, the street actions are more compact, and the Text tab shows a small replayer with step buttons instead of the players list.
Player notes no longer show VPIP, PFR, WTSD and W$SD. The imported numbers are kept.
0.9.11Beta
Record hand during a live cash game or tournament: pick your cards, add a note and save it as unfinished.
Record hand during a live cash game or tournament: pick your cards, add a note and save it as unfinished. It is linked to the session; finish it later from the session or Hand histories, where it is marked "Unfinished" and opens in the recorder with your cards and note filled in.
Improved
Tablets and foldables: pages sit in a centred column that is easier to read, Home keeps its background across the whole screen, and turning or unfolding the device keeps what you were doing.
Results on a tablet keeps its tabs and filters in landscape; a Full screen button opens the chart over the whole screen. On phones, turning to landscape on Charts still shows the chart full screen.
Range editor in landscape on a tablet: the grid fits the screen with the range and presets beside it.
Fixed
Some headings and labels showed in the system font instead of GoodRun's.
0.9.10Beta
Hand replayer: open a hand (imported from Poker Bankroll Tracker or recorded in GoodRun) and watch it on a poker table: seats with stacks (? when unknown), bets, the board and the pot, step by step.
Hand replayer: open a hand (imported from Poker Bankroll Tracker or recorded in GoodRun) and watch it on a poker table: seats with stacks (? when unknown), bets, the board and the pot, step by step. Swipe on the table for the next or previous action, up for the next bet or raise, down for the next call, check or fold; tap to play or pause. The Text tab keeps the hand as text.
Record hands: from Hand histories or a finished session (the hand is linked to it). Set up the table and your cards, then enter the action with Fold, Check/Call and Bet/Raise; quick sizes (½ pot, ⅔ pot, pot, 2.5x, 3x, all-in), "Everyone folds to …", the board when a street ends, and who showed what. Undo takes back the last step, and an unfinished hand is kept until you save or discard it.
Stacks in recorded hands are optional. Enter only yours and it is the effective stack when you are heads-up against a player without one; with two or more entered, every stack is kept exactly.
Venues can belong to a bankroll: new sessions at that venue count towards it. Earlier sessions can be moved there too, with a preview of what changes and Undo.
Search settings: type in the field at the top of Settings to find any setting; tap a result to open its page with the setting highlighted.
Improved
Deleting a bankroll asks where its sessions and venues go (the default bankroll is preselected) and says how many deposits, withdrawals and corrections are deleted.
Player notes: Poker Bankroll Tracker's note is kept apart from yours and shown under "From Poker Bankroll Tracker". Importing again only updates that part; your own note is never changed.
Lists with a + button leave room at the bottom, so the button never covers the last row, also with large text and on-screen navigation buttons.
Fixed
After changing the main currency, the old currency's exchange-rate check no longer keeps running in the background.
0.9.9Beta
Bankroll: a new tab in Results shows how much money you have for poker.
Bankroll: a new tab in Results shows how much money you have for poker. Enter a starting balance; every session you finish is added automatically (your share, if you sold action). Record deposits, withdrawals and transfers, correct the balance after counting, and see it over time.
Several bankrolls (e.g. home and travel, in different currencies), one is the default. With two or more, choose the bankroll when starting or editing a session, or move many at once in Bulk edit.
A bankroll can count trip expenses (off by default). The session spreadsheet has a new "bankroll" column.
Results chart: touch and hold the line, then slide left or right to pick a session. The date and result show as you slide; let go to open it, with Jump to session.
Live session: a red stop button next to the timer ends the session without scrolling down.
Results tabs: touch and hold the tabs to put them in your own order.
Player notes: search by name or note, Undo after deleting a player, and a large note editor.
After an update with big changes, What's New opens once by itself.
Settings → Results → Big blinds in straddle games: choose whether a straddle (or third blind) counts as the big blind in BB results, BB/hour and BB charts, or whether they always use the posted big blind.
Improved
Results tabs keep their scroll position when you switch between them, and the tab labels scroll instead of being cut off on small phones.
Key figures fit small screens: the main figures first, the rest under More.
Compact layout is noticeably tighter, so the chart starts on the first screen of a small phone.
Live session: venue, stakes and game in one larger line under the timer, instead of separate rows. A long venue name is shortened; stakes and game are always shown. Change them with the pencil.
Player notes: each player shows two lines of the note in the list. Importing Poker Bankroll Tracker notes again keeps what you wrote yourself and only updates the PBT part.
Faster with a long history: rebuys, breaks and notes in a live session, charts and Evaluation no longer reload everything; backups are made and read in the background, one at a time.
Swipe left on a session in the cash and tournament history to delete it.
Text-size choices fit the screen width, and lists and dialogs fit at the largest text sizes.
New app icon.
Results in big blinds are split by share like money: with action sold, Player share and Staker share in BB are each part of the total (before, both showed the total).
Results in big blinds now count a straddle or third blind as the big blind by default. Switch back to the posted big blind in Settings → Results. No amounts are changed.
The live session no longer repeats the total buy-in in a third box: Buy-in and Rebuys, with the total above.
Accent colour: sky blue instead of teal for buttons and selected chips.
Import & Export explains each option in plain words (what it is good for, what to keep in mind) and recommends a regular backup. The backup screen says that backups are not encrypted.
Settings → Appearance no longer shows a Light/Dark switch: GoodRun is dark only for now.
Fixed
After ending a session, the rating prompt, the result message and the return to Home are back (missing in the first 0.9.9 build).
Swiping left on a Results session opens Delete instead of the next tab.
Saving a past session twice by tapping Save quickly no longer creates two sessions.
Editing a session keeps break times to the second.
Backups are checked more strictly: damaged files and duplicate entries are refused before anything changes.
Edit session: the delete and save buttons have labels for screen readers.
Rebuy history fits at the largest text sizes.
In landscape, lists keep clear of the screen edges and the navigation buttons.
0.9.8Beta
Hands linked to a session show that session's currency with their result.
Hands linked to a session show that session's currency with their result.
Improved
New name and new look: the app is now GoodRun, with a redesigned Home, live session, Results, Charts, session forms, Game Setup, Trips, Settings and Poker Tools.
GoodRun installs as a new app next to RunGood. Move your data with Settings → Import & Export → Export backup in RunGood, then Import backup in GoodRun; uninstall RunGood once everything is there.
Fixed
End Session and other bottom buttons are no longer covered by the phone's navigation buttons; the three-button bar is now see-through instead of a grey strip.
Backups: damaged or inconsistent backups are refused before anything is replaced, and merging a backup with a running session ends it without losing its break time.
CSV import: an empty cash-out stays unknown instead of counting as a total loss; text starting with = + - @ round-trips correctly.
Importing the same hand file twice no longer creates duplicate hands or players.
Stakes must be numbers above 0 everywhere they can be entered, with a message at the field.
Exchange rates fetched while offline are retried later, and a manual rate is never overwritten.
Resuming a session is blocked while another one of the same kind is running.
Large text: the hand detail street headers no longer run off narrow screens.
0.9.7Beta
Effective big blind now counts straddles and third blinds: in 100/200 with a 400 straddle, an effective BB of 300 sells 25 % (it was 0 %).
Effective big blind now counts straddles and third blinds: in 100/200 with a 400 straddle, an effective BB of 300 sells 25 % (it was 0 %). Applies to bulk edit, the session editor and stakes defaults.
The bulk edit preview shows which blind each session is measured against (straddles and third blinds in bold) and the % sold to two decimals.
0.9.6Beta
Session notes: a Note button in a running session saves notes with the time and how long you had been playing; they show in the session details.
Session notes: a Note button in a running session saves notes with the time and how long you had been playing; they show in the session details.
Evaluation note: add a written note to your game evaluation, right after a session or later.
Resume a finished session from its details (menu): same session, the time in between left out unless you count it.
Swipe a session left in Results to delete it (always asks; Undo restores it). Also in the session details menu.
Bulk edit: set action sold by effective big blind — the % sold is worked out for each session from its own stakes.
Saved hands can be linked to any session, changed or removed; the import asks before linking.
Improved
Cash Games uses a chip-stack icon instead of the dice.
Fixed
Deleting a session no longer leaves its saved hands pointing at it (they stay, unlinked).
Restoring a backup with "Add missing" now also brings back saved hands and player notes.
0.9.5Beta
Large amounts in Key figures, Breakdown, charts and trip summaries are shown compactly (HK$187.9K, HK$1.25M) and never wrap; tap one to see the exact amount.
Large amounts in Key figures, Breakdown, charts and trip summaries are shown compactly (HK$187.9K, HK$1.25M) and never wrap; tap one to see the exact amount.
Settings → Appearance → Amounts in Results and summaries: Compact (default) or Full precision.
Improved
Compact amounts follow each currency (no decimals for yen) and your number format; session details, records and exports always keep exact amounts.
0.9.4Beta
Import from Poker Bankroll Tracker (Settings → Import & Export): sessions with rebuys (with their times where PBT recorded them), sold action, straddles, notes and exchange rates; player notes with stats; and hand replays.
Import from Poker Bankroll Tracker (Settings → Import & Export): sessions with rebuys (with their times where PBT recorded them), sold action, straddles, notes and exchange rates; player notes with stats; and hand replays. Preview first; importing again never creates duplicates, and sessions you also entered in RunGood are held back.
Hand histories (Poker tools): each hand street by street with board, pot and each player's result; hands are linked to the session they were played in.
Player notes (Poker tools): notes on opponents, with stats from Poker Bankroll Tracker.
Fixed
Tournament ROI no longer counts cash-game results in the same selection.
An amount that isn't a valid number is flagged and can't be saved (it was saved as 0).
Exchange rates must be a number above 0; bad rates are refused everywhere.
Editing a session no longer rounds a fractional % sold (e.g. 33.33 %).
Player and staker shares always add up exactly to the session result.
Backup import refuses incomplete or damaged files before changing anything, keeps continued sessions linked, and the CSV import checks every amount and % sold.
Fold equity only takes the equity calculator's result once it has finished.
0.9.3Beta
Fold-equity calculator in Poker tools: break-even fold frequency, EV of a bet or shove, and the equity you need when called.
Fold-equity calculator in Poker tools: break-even fold frequency, EV of a bet or shove, and the equity you need when called. Can take your equity from the equity calculator.
Sessions with action sold show the player and staker share in the session overview (what each side puts in, gets back and nets), and "x% sold" in the session list.
Key figures show the player and staker shares next to the total.
Improved
Results always open on the session total. Total / Player / Staker is now a small menu (Total first) and is not remembered.
The Results filters take one row: game type and Total/Player/Staker are compact menus.
Money or big blinds is now a small $$ / BB toggle in the chart cards.
Notes follow the shipped app and verified release artifacts. Historical entries describe their release at the time; later updates may change that behavior. Earlier RunGood releases are included where publication could be verified.
