What is a closed test?
Google Play lets a developer share an app with a small, invited group before it is public. Testers install the app from Google Play like any other app, on their own phone, and get updates the same way. Google asks new developers to run such a test before an app can go public, and that is the stage GoodRun is in.
What you would be doing
- Using GoodRun for real sessions, cash games or tournaments.
- Telling us what is confusing, slow or missing.
- Exporting a backup now and then. It is a test version, and a backup file is the safe thing to have.
What you need
- An Android phone.
- The Google account you use on Google Play. Google uses it to give you access to the test.
What you get
- The full app, offline, with no account and no ads.
- Your history from another app, if you bring it.
- A direct say in what gets built. The contact address is coming soon.
Your data
Your sessions stay on your phone in the test, as in the final app. See the privacy policy.
