SWITCH FROM POKERBASE

Switch from Pokerbase.

Pokerbase’s free export has only seven columns, so what arrives in GoodRun is each session’s time, place and result. Here is exactly what that means.

Import in GoodRun

Coming soon

Settings > Import & Export > From other apps

Export from Pokerbase

The CSV export is free.

The PDF export is a Pro feature.

You need

Pokerbase’s CSV file.

Saved on your phone.

1. Export from Pokerbase

  1. In Pokerbase, open More > CSV Export.
  2. Choose the fields and the time range you want, then tap Generate report. Pokerbase prepares the file on its servers and then opens your share sheet.
  3. Save the file to your phone. Use all the fields: GoodRun maps columns by their names.

2. Import into GoodRun

Coming soon. This import is not in the app yet. The steps below describe how it will work. Until then, export your file and keep it safe.

  1. Open GoodRun and go to Settings > Import & Export > From other apps.
  2. Choose the Pokerbase CSV.
  3. In the preview, check the count and the first dates. Rows with a doubtful break time are flagged.
  4. Tap Import, then use Bulk edit sessions to set the game and stakes for many sessions at once.

What carries over, and what does not

Carries over

  • Start and end time.
  • Venue.
  • Currency, kept for each session.
  • The net result of each session.
  • The expenses total, shown for information.

Does not carry over

  • Cash game or tournament: the file does not say, so sessions arrive as cash games and you can change them in bulk.
  • Game, stakes, buy-in, rebuys, add-ons, cash-out and notes. Pokerbase’s export does not contain them.
  • Players, tournament place, staking details and bounties as separate figures.
