You need
The Sessions (CSV) file saved on your phone.
The app hands it to your share sheet.
1. Export from Poker Analytics
- In Poker Analytics for Android, open More, scroll to Export and choose Sessions (CSV).
- The file goes through Android’s share sheet, with no “save to Downloads” button. Send it to a share target that can save a file, such as Google Drive, Files or a file manager’s “Save as”.
- Make sure the file ends up on your phone where you can pick it later.
2. Import into GoodRun
- Open GoodRun and go to Settings > Import & Export > From other apps.
- Tap Choose files and pick the Sessions (CSV) file.
- Look at the preview. If every date in the file could be read two ways (03/04/26), GoodRun says so and lets you switch between day/month and month/day. Check the first session’s date.
- Tap Import.
What carries over, and what does not
Carries over
- Start and end time, break, cash game or tournament.
- Buy-in, cash-out, game, blinds (with straddle), ante and venue.
- Currency and exchange rate.
- Tournament name, finish position and number of players.
- Comments, as notes.
- Tips, as expenses.
Does not carry over
- Rebuys: the CSV does not list them separately, so all buy-ins arrive as one initial buy-in.
- Online flag, number of tables, hands count, table size, entry fee, tournament type and features.
- Bankrolls, groups and custom fields. GoodRun puts each session in the bankroll of its venue, as for any import.
- Poker Analytics’ own backup file (JSON). It is not imported.
Good to know
- Tips lower the result. Poker Analytics counts the result as cash-out minus buy-in and leaves tips out. GoodRun counts tips as expenses, so a session’s result in GoodRun is lower by its tips.
- Dates are written in your phone’s format. GoodRun works out the order from the data and asks only when it cannot tell.
- Safe to repeat. Importing the same export, or a later one with the same sessions, skips what is already there.
- Tested with the Android app (version 6.5.1). The iPhone app has not been tested yet.
